On 7 November 2024, Dove pleaded guilty to eleven counts of felony accessing a government computer and one count of felony obstruction of justice. Other charges were apparently dropped.
On 8 November 2024, the court consolidated Dove’s charges into two judgements of six to 17 months. The first is an active sentence, however, the second was suspended.
Dove also came into the hearing with 331 days of time served, which could be applied to her active sentence in Gaston County or related charges in Mecklenburg County, according to Page.
Dove asked the court to move her probation to Georgia, and Gaston Superior Court Judge Phillips granted that request.
At the hearing, Gaston County District Attorney Travis Page said that while Dove surrendering her North Carolina law enforcement certification might not stop her from being an officer in another state in the future, the felony charges likely would.
