Disclaimer, Sourcing, and Corrections Policy
FuckedCops.com is dedicated to transparency, public oversight, and the principle that those entrusted with enforcing the law should also be subject to public accountability. The site compiles and summarizes publicly available information, including public records, court filings, official statements, disciplinary records, news reports, documented outcomes, and other sourced materials concerning alleged or confirmed police misconduct, abuse of authority, and institutional responses.
The purpose of this site is not vigilantism, harassment, or retaliation. Its purpose is to make documented information easier to find, preserve public records, and support informed discussion by citizens, journalists, researchers, advocates, policymakers, and affected communities.
Status of Entries
Entries should be read carefully according to the status described in each post. A matter may involve an allegation, complaint, civil lawsuit, internal investigation, criminal charge, indictment, administrative finding, settlement, resignation, termination, decertification, conviction, dismissal, acquittal, appeal, or other outcome.
An arrest, complaint, lawsuit, indictment, or charge is not proof of wrongdoing. Unless an entry specifically states that a person has been convicted, found liable, disciplined, decertified, or otherwise adjudicated by a court, agency, department, or other body with authority over the matter, no such outcome should be inferred.
Every person accused of a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of competent jurisdiction. Civil allegations, administrative allegations, internal complaints, and disciplinary proceedings are likewise not findings of misconduct unless the entry specifically identifies a documented finding or outcome.
Sources and Accuracy
FuckedCops.com relies on sources believed to be accurate at the time of publication, including public records, court documents, official agency statements, credible news reports, and other documented materials. When possible, entries should identify or link to the source materials used.
Information may become incomplete, outdated, corrected, sealed, expunged, reversed, appealed, or otherwise changed after publication. Public records and third-party reports may also contain errors. FuckedCops.com does not guarantee that every entry reflects the most current status of a case, investigation, or proceeding.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence and other automated tools may be used to assist with research organization, summarization, formatting, deduplication, or drafting. AI-generated output is not treated as an independent source. Entries should be based on cited records, reports, statements, filings, or other source materials.
Because AI tools, automation, and human review can all produce mistakes, readers should verify important information against the cited sources whenever possible.
Images and Visual Materials
Images used on this site may include booking photos, official photographs, screenshots, document excerpts, news images, stock images, AI-generated images, or other visual materials. Images are intended to provide context, aid understanding, or draw attention to the accompanying entry.
An image should not be interpreted as proof of misconduct, guilt, liability, or any particular outcome. If an image is illustrative, AI-generated, a stock image, or otherwise not directly depicting the person, event, agency, or incident discussed in the entry, it should be clearly labeled as illustrative.
No Encouragement of Harassment or Vigilantism
FuckedCops.com does not encourage threats, harassment, stalking, doxxing, intimidation, violence, or unlawful conduct of any kind. Information published on this site should not be used to target individuals, family members, witnesses, victims, complainants, journalists, attorneys, public employees, or private citizens.
The appropriate use of this information is public oversight, research, reporting, civic engagement, institutional accountability, and lawful advocacy.
Corrections, Updates, and Right to Respond
FuckedCops.com aims to correct material errors of fact as soon as practicable after they are brought to our attention and reasonably verified. If new information materially changes a story, including a dismissal, acquittal, reversal, settlement, disciplinary outcome, reinstatement, decertification, appeal, or correction by an original source, the entry may be updated, clarified, corrected, or supplemented.
Requests for correction should include:
-
the URL of the entry at issue;
-
the specific statement believed to be inaccurate or incomplete;
-
supporting documentation, such as court records, agency records, official statements, or other verifiable materials;
-
the requested correction or update; and
-
contact information for follow-up.
People, agencies, attorneys, or other parties with relevant documentation may also submit statements or updates for review. Submission of a correction request does not guarantee removal or revision, but all good-faith requests will be reviewed.
FuckedCops.com may update, revise, clarify, or correct entries at any time to improve accuracy, context, sourcing, readability, or completeness.
